1. Tell us about your current occupation and how you landed such a fabulous job.⁣

I have been writing about beauty since 2005. Currently, I freelance for media outlets and write content of all sorts for brands. However, I never stop learning, and that helped get me to where I am.

2. What's your best advice for PR professionals?

Tailor your pitch. I cover beauty and aesthetics, but if a publicist pitches me something that doesn't fit those categories, I don't respond. However, if the pitch has a unique hook that I can work into a story, you have my attention.

3. What's a fun fact about you?

I have mastered the art of applying a full face of makeup using just one hand.

4. Tell us about your favorite nonprofit and why.

Food for the Hungry because no one should go without the basics for survival.

5. What's your favorite meal, movie, or vacation spot?

I will never pass up a charcuterie board, no matter what. It's even better if I can indulge in one while in Italy.
